Today is the day! The biggest party day in the land! It’s like I’m the young and carefree me all over again. Only instead of starting the party in the wee hours of the morn and rallying straight through to the wee hours of the next morn with alcohol, I’m starting the party in the wee hours of the morn and rallying straight through to the wee hours of the next morn with…my pillow. And, maybe a midnight snack.
Welcome to the grown up version of my life. Where party snacks are made with alcohol because I have no time to drink AND snack. And, when I do have time to imbibe in peace, I’m sipping and weeping alone in my closet because my toddler is drawing potato people on the dining room floor.
Hope you’re kicking off St. Patrick’s Day with something as fun as these party snacks (and something less fun than trying to get permanent marker out of 1800’s hardwoods). I will be celebrating with you in spirit by eating these grown up tasties and pretending I’m as drunk as my 3 year old looks when she wakes up from nap. Muah!
PARTY SNACKS THAT ROCK!
Oh, sweet donut bliss. These Vermont Beer & Pretzel Mini Donuts are screaming my name. Can you hear it? Am I the only one that here’s it? These mini donuts come out nice and moist, and the flavor of the Vermont beer really comes through. They are topped with chocolate covered pretzels, that add a salty sweet combination we all love! If you can get past he fact that I just used the “m” word (you know which word I’m talking about), you can grab a dozen HERE for $25 bucks!
I love a good Margarita. Pair it with a Marshmallow and I can barely walk in a straight line. Margarita marshmallows are made using fresh lime juice, lime zest and good quality tequila. They are then cut and dusted with confectioners sugar. Find these Margarita Tequila Marshmallows HERE for $16 bucks.
I have four words for you: Chocolate Chip Bourbon Bombs. Truly in a class of their own. Moist, rich, and just the right snacking size, they’re made with semi-sweet chocolate chips, Texas pecans and, most important: Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey by Garrison Brothers Distillery in Hye, Texas. I have four more words for you: Get in ma’ belly. Find yours: HERE (1/2 dozen for $8; dozen for $16).
OMG, it’s cotton candy. Fluffy, sweet, wine infused cotton candy. Enjoy a sip of cotton candy infused with Chardonnay flavoring…light, fruity taste”. If this doesn’t both bring you back to your childhood and remind you of that one time you woke on your kitchen floor with a carrot in one hand and a jar of jelly in the other, I don’t know what will! (ps, that never, ever happened to me…and if it did, it was probably in my 20’s). Find this Chardonnay Cotton Candy: HERE (for $4.50)
These sugar cookies are infused with good ol’ fashioned sugar. And, believe me…when it comes to party snacks, I’d pass up just about any alcoholic bevvy for the sweet, intoxicating high you get when eating a delicious cookie. Comes in our delicious ORIGINAL lemon-vanilla bean sugar cookie recipe, which is unlike most sugar cookie recipes. The cookie is pretty dense and cakey with a slight chew. And, um…how cute are these? Seriously…the cutest. Find em’: HERE for $12 bucks.
Okay, I have to go pick out my party outfit now. I’m thinking of a real showstopper…probably leggings and an over-sized sweatshirt. I might even show a little shoulder and wear the red lipstick that came in my Beautycon Box. Yee-haw!
