I’m not gonna lie – I may or may not be very juiced up on coffee today. That said, this post may be a little crazytown. And, when I say “crazytown” I mean, it’s probably going to be totally weird. Hopefully you hang in there because I’m about to blab about my most recent beauty fix (and it was a goooooood one!).
So, here’s the thing. My lashes are the saddest little things in all of lash-land. I’ve tried to fluff them and nurture them and whisper sweet nothings to them…but, nonetheless, they refuse (and I mean refuse) to be the gorgeous lashes I always dreamed of.
Any time I get a chance to convince those babies into doing something spectacular, I take it. And, the peeps over at Beauty Box 5 sent me a box that is going to help me with just that.

A BEAUTY FIX (FOR MA’ LASHES)
Like most boxes, it came with an insert that describes all of the goodies found inside the box (including applicable hashtags for posting on social)!
This box came with five (get it, Beauty Box 5) beauty items, all surrounding one theme: everything you need to pamper those gorgeous lashes (or as I like to call it, my lash fix, beauty fix, fixity fix fix…). Let’s get to it.
Fix #1: Let’s just go straight to the show stopper…these SWEEP Lashes. First, measure lashes to your lash line and trim to size. This seems like a terrifying idea. Can’t I just stick them on there and pray I look like Brigitte Bardot? Hint: The answer to this question is “No. No you cannot do that. I may or may not have a pair of lashes dangling from my eyebrow as I type. Retail: $15 for a set of 5.
Fix #2: All kidding aside, I have had more run ins with false lashes than a girl should ever admit. The step which requires you them to stick them to your lid is the absolute worst for me. Picture a 4 year old tyring to glue things. And then picture a 2 year old trying to glue things. I’m her. The two year old. I’m insanely excited about this SWEEP Lash Helper. Use this innovative tool to help you perfectly place your false eyelashes on your lash line. It’s like the lash heavens sent it down to me on a rainbow. Retail: $9.99.
Beauty Fix #3: Speaking of rainbows! How sparkly is this BELLAPIERE COSMETICS Cosmetic Glitter? I love a product that sparkles. If I can put it on my body and sparkle my way through the grocery store even better. This cosmetic glitter can be applied with a mixing medium or directly to skin, eyelids, hair, lips, and even your bubble bath! Wait, wha-hut? Lovey-love-love. Retail: $15.
Beauty Fix #4: Lash primer! I love this! Seriously – I spent many years of my life not knowing a thing about the various “primers” available for the cosmetically challenged like me. And, let me tell you. A primer can make allllll the difference! The MANNA KADAR Lash Primer is a clear base coat that naturally lengthens and bulks up lashes before application of mascara. Retail: $24
Last, but not least was my fifth and final fix: OMG, I’m going to be shimmering! I may have false lashes dangling from my eyelids, screaming for help, but I’m going to be glowing and sparkeling my way through it! The PRESTIGE COSMETICS TRUE METALS EYESHADOW creates a perfectly foiled look thanks to it’s metalic finish and pigmented hues. Retail: $9.75.
WHAT’S IT GONNA COST?
Beauty Box 5 costs $12 per month (for the monthly plan). You can also snag a quarterly plan for $30 bucks (billed every 3 months or a yearly plan for $109. Don’t forget to add $3 bucks per box for shipping if you live in Canada! Get the box
ARE MY FALSIES STILL AFFIXED TO MY BROW?
Affirmative. But, A for effort right? And, A+++++++++++ for five fabulous new beauty obsessions to add to my collection. Let me know if you hook yourself up with this magical little beauty box and tell me all your beauty secrets!
