Hey, girl…haiiiiii.  Remember about five seconds ago when I posted about the yummy vegan snacks I received from Vegan Cuts?  Well, I’m on a posting kick and wanted to keep the party going with some fab cruelty free and vegan beauty goods!

As I mentioned in my previous post, I haven’t officially crossed over to vegan life, but I do pay attention to what I put on and inside my body.  Many of the products I use on the regular are cruelty free, but since I’m not following a vegan lifestyles offish, I love when I get to try new things I might not have found otherwise.

Cue, the Vegan Cuts Beauty Box (and also cue the soundtrack from Big Little Lies because I’m listening to it right now and it’s insane).

THE BEAUTIES

The theme of the beauty box this month was “New Season.  New Beauty.”  The goodies arrived in the most adorable little pink sachel-thingy (for which my daughter immediately took possession and loaded up with playdough).

The box came with a really fun and colorful card showcasing the various brands included, the value of the goods and ways to follow them on social.

I must start with the HEMPZ Fresh Coconut & Watermelon Herbal Body Moisturizer.  Why?  Because it’s the most delicious smell in the land and it feels awesome on my skin.   100% pure hemp seed oil body moisturizer infused with coconut and watermelon extracts that rejuvenates and revives the skin.  Retails for around $7.30.  And, fun fact:  My daughter called watermelon “lumpitay” up until about a few months ago.  Why?  Because, toddlers.  They’re the weirdest.

I’m equally obsessed with this SHEA MOISTURE Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Shea Butter Lip Balm. Replenish & rejuvenate dry lips with an organic Shea butter balm blended with enticing fruity and floral flavors. It smells and tastes like I want to eat it.  Am I weird?  Pair it with the HEMPZ moisturizer and I’m basically in Tahiti. Retails for $3.99.

I haven’t tried the PLANTLIFE mineral bath salt in “Relax”, but I can’t wait to enjoy them while I’m on this fabulous island vacation with my new lotion and lip balm. Contains unrefined Celtic hand harvested sea salt.  Retails for $5.95.

For my nails?  LONDONTOWN Lakur in BRILL-ANT.  High-shine and chip resistant nail lacquer. I’m not cheating on my new fave nail polish or anything, but this gorgeous and sparkly purple shade is definitely going into rotation.

Lastly, I received this adorable lil’ duo from MODICUM.  I have tricky skin and have already found my miracle regimen so I probably won’t be trying this out myself.  But it’s a bliss-inducing cleanser and exfoliant to pamper YOUR skin and it’s probably the awesomest. And, also it smells like one of the juices I had in my cleanse the other day which somehow makes it seem super refreshing! Retails for $32!

IS CRUELTY FREE FOR YOU?

I mean, who doesn’t like to try new stuff?  And, if it ensures our fuzzy friends are not harmed in any way?  Even better.  Here’s how to hook yourself up:

  • Monthly:  The monthly beauty box subscription costs $22.95 per month and you pay as you go.
  • Pre-Pay:  You can also pre-pay for a 3 month subscription at a cost of $66 (nets out to $22 per month), a 6 month subscription at a cost of $120 (nets out to $20 per month) or a 12 month subscription at a cost of $222, which is the best deal netting out to $18.40 per box!

The next box ships by April 18th, so let me know if you get in on it!

IS CRUELTY FREE FOR ME?

Um, yes.  Double yes.  I love a beauty box that sends full size stuff, and if it’s vegan and cruelty free my heart is happy.  Samples are nice, but I feel like a full size product lets you really dig in and see if something works for you. So, Vegan Cuts?  Thanks for sharing this box with me!  Best friends forever??
