MY LATEST FIXES
A couple of months ago I posted about my first fix after taking a couple year break. And, even though I didn’t end up keeping anything (I’m pretty fickle when it comes to fashion), I was really, really happy with the fix (they nailed my style, and I already had most of the items in my closet)!
Well, my stylist had her work cut out with me and I gave her a little challenge in return for my next fix– find me a pair of stretchy (like, super stretch) Army Green Moto pants (that were short enough for my 5 foot frame) and some cute, flowy tops and make sure I love them. Not too much to ask right?
Well, guess what? STITCH FIX DELIVERED (like, legit…they delivered a box and it had my new motos, just patiently waiting for me to profess my love). Here’s a little snippet of what I kept:
These Audrey Moto Detail Skinny Pant by Pistola (Cost: $88 bucks). As mentioned in the video above, they nailed it with these motos and I’m ob-sessed.
The other item I kept was this Adella Crochet Detail Kimono by Le Lis (Cost: $54 bucks). Um, it’s really hard to take pics of really silky stuff sometimes. I couldn’t get a good shot of this, so I just laid it out so you could see the detailing (which was gorgeous!). This is a short sleeved Kimono with lace detailing and I heart it so.
I returned everything else – including this Alandro Off-The-Shoulder Knit Top by Loveappella (Retail: $54). Legit, this looked horrific on me. Bad news bears guys. Bad news bears.
I also sent back a pair of Baci High Rise Button Up Distressed Fray Hem Shorts by Just Black (Retail: $58 bucks), because I had just puchased an identical pair from Old Navy. And, I sent back this Skies are Blue Rita Smocking Detail Blouse (Retail: $54). This one was a tough one to send back. I almost (almost) kept it. I loved the fit, but I wasn’t 100 percent sold on the design. So, that’s ultimately why I chose to send it back. I liked it. But not enough to spend $60 bills on it.
All in all it was a great fix! And, I mean…I just love this brand. And, it truly is “personal” styling. So much so, that my personal stylist commented on my daughters sweet lil’ curls in her note from my last fix (I’m so honored she took the time to stalk me)! I mean…I’ve heard great things about the relationships they build with their clients – They are there for them in triumph (sending sweet little onesies to new babes) and in tragedy (sending personalized notes and sweet trinkets honoring a lost loved one).
It doesn’t get any better than that.
