This subscription box is for people who don't have time to design or don't know where to start. Meet Dkora.I’m super stoked to post about this box because I stumbled upon it when commingling with the creator in a local business group for Boston Business Women!  PS, if you’re in the Boston area and would love a great networking group, join this group.  It’s filled with positive vibes and great information, business opportunities and support.

But, more on that later.  Today I want to talk about Isabella Soto Rivera and her genius decor box: DKORA.

WHAT IS DKORA BOX?

DKORA BOX makes it incredibly easy for anyone to add style and comfort to the spaces in their home in a matter of minutes.

FINALLY.  A box that provides a legit design solution. When interviewed by BostInno, Isabella described her creation as a solution “…for people who don’t want to look, don’t know how to decorate, or, as is the case with many men, don’t care or don’t know where to start.

Although I’m pretty fond of designing on my own, I can count about 10 people I know right now that could totally use this solution to spruce up their space with some classic home essentials!

HOW IT WORKS

This subscription box is for people who don't have time to design or don't know where to start. Meet Dkora. The concept of this box is SO awesome.  It’s perfect for any person that either doesn’t have a ton of free time to focus on designing spaces in their home or doesn’t really know how.    They make it super easy for you to create a space that is GORGEOUS (seriously, their products are beautiful) and matchy-matchy (in all the right ways).

Basically, you pick a room (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen).  Oh, and if you have a rental you’re looking to furnish, you can pick the “rental host” option – a great way to improve your listing and up your guest count!

You then choose your palette:  beige, blue, grey or custom. After you’ve selected your color, choose the box you’d like to receive, either the “Basic Box” or the “Dkora Box”.  And, BAM!  You’re a super famous designer now.  Just kidding. But, your space will look like you hired one.

WHAT’S IT COST?

This subscription box is for people who don't have time to design or don't know where to start. Meet Dkora. The Basic Box includes..well, the basics (like towels, duvets, flatware, etc.) and the “Dkora” version adds on the stuff that will make the room look pretty and feel pulled together (picture frames, coasters, trays, shower curtains, oven mitts, etc.).

Either way you go, it’s not cheap.  And, don’t take that negatively.  If you think about what you would spend to furnish and design an entire space, and compare that with what you get in the box (as far as product) and the service you get by ordering the box (they put it all together and coordinate the elements for you) it makes total sense and is priced just right.

Here’s a couple of examples: For the Bedroom, a Basic Box starts at $460 and the Dkora Box starts at $745. For the Bathroom, a Basic Box starts at $116 and the Dkora Box starts at $296. For the Kitchen, a Basic Box starts at $133 and the Dkora Box starts at $245.

The actual costs depend upon the room and color you choose as well as the items.  You can remove items from the boxes (i.e. if you already have something similar) and add extras.  So, customization is always an option or you can just pick, select, pay and wait for the awesomeness to arrive.
