Well, I mean…I don’t have the loot, but I’ve got the skinny on the loot, and this loot you’re going to love. Like, lurve. So much.
Being a lady boss myself, I was incredibly stoked to find a subscription box that was not only filled with fabulous product, but made especially for female entrepreneurs like me. I work hard in my life…in addition to my mama duties (which I do full time), I head up the new business development and marketing for a National promotional marketing firm (and have for 12 years), I run this bloggity blog (and am slowly starting to share just how I do that with other up and coming bloggers), and I provide design and marketing services on the side.
Why? Because I’m a crazy worker bee, who somehow always feels over worked, but still takes on projects because I’m crazy. Did I mention I’m crazy?
I love working. I love being a wife, and a mom, and a friend, but I am so inspired by other smart people in business, creatives, and women runnin’ the world. I love to put on the ol’ thinking cap and come up with great ideas to better myself, make more money for myself and my family, and help other people succeed in their business endeavors. And, I’m super lucky to have the opportunity to do it all. I also, sometimes curl up in the fetal position and cry from all the stress, but I mean..it’s the price ya’ pay for perfection:)

MY NEW OBSESSIONS
This box has my heart. It’s creatively and professionally put together and is totally in my wheelhouse right now.
I was super impressed with the insert / magazine thingy that comes inside. I get a lot of boxes. And, while many of the inserts I see are fabulous, this one is just at the tip-top of the list for me.
It’s packed with useful information about the products and even includes useful articles related to the theme. This month’s theme was “Money Matters” – the 3 Money Mistakes That Keep Your Business Broke article was right on point. There was even a recipe for a Caramel Iced Coffee that I’m about to make and drink like that’s my J-O-B.
Miranda (the lady boss behind this loot filled box, and also my new BFF even though she has no idea yet) has done an incredible job creating this subscription.
The loot I received, is probably some of my most favorite unboxed goodies to date. Maybe it’s because the theme is so relevent to my life right now? Either way, my heart created a few extra beats for each item I pulled out of the box (I’m pretty sure the beats went something like..ga-gun…ga-gun…and maybe Hungry Eyes played in the background).
I’m stoked to read Rich Bitch by Nicole Lapin. We have a great budgeting system for our personal lives, and I think I’ve got a pretty good handle on my business as well. But, I love finding new ways to make my life easier, become more efficient and save those dolla-dolla bills ya’ll!
The box smelled delicious. And, that was thanks to the Hand in Hand Clean Water Collection Lavender Sugar Scrub. My fave time to enjoy, like really enjoy a good scrub is with a moon-lit shower. TMI? I don’t care. Moonlit shower? Let’s get official tonight.
This was one of the cause-worthy products in the bunch: For every product purchased, Hand in Hand donates one bar of soap and provides one month of clean water to help save a child’s life. There is nothing more magical than supporting products that support the world.
Also included, was this Hand in Hand Shea Butter Lip Balm in Orange Blossom. You may not know this about me, but if I could spend a little alone time with Shea butter, I’d totally make it my new lover. This balm (such a funny word to say!) is the BOMB and my lips are the softest in the land.
One of my favorite items in the box was this gorgeous Vegan Leather Brown Wallet. First of all, this color is my jam and second, I totally needed a new wallet.
There’s a fancy gold zipper and lots of little compartments for your credit cards and stuff. This was the first thing I used. Like, literally opened it up, walked to my bag, grabbed my old wallet, transferred everything over and called it done.
Let’s talk Vaginas. Because, why wouldn’t we? I received two little packets of Vag Magic which helps your lady bits maintain it’s normal PH and protects against harmful bacteria. And, it makes things smell really nice too which is never a bad thang.
OMG, guys – I love this little Budget Notebook so bad.
Firstly, the insides are adorable – vibrant colors and lots of little places to insert all sorts of info snippets makes me so very happy.
I can’t wait to start using this right away! We use YNAB to keep track of things electronically, but I like to put things to paper. Usually, I carve out a space in my Inkwell Planner, but I’m totes going to transition into using this fab lil’ booklet to keep track of my monies.
Lastly, were the coffee and treats. And, I mean I never turn down coffee…and, even though I’m on this dumb diet trying to locate my abs again, I’m totally fine with a few rewards.
Ugly Mug Coffee is Tennessee roasted (Memphis, baby!), fair trade and sustainable. I received Saving Grace, which is the best coffee name ever, p.s., but also their most popular blend.
I’m so going to follow Miranda’s suggestion and use this and these Mama B Caramels to make the Caramel Iced Coffee recipe she provided. Try not to be jealous:)
I almost forgot the tiniest pencils in the land! How aodrabe are these Tiffany Blue Miniature pencils? The cutest.
