I’ve been posting a ton of stuff for the mama’s (and dads) lately, so I thought I’d stop to share a little somethin’ sweet for the kiddos. I’ve been lucky to try specialty boxes out there for kidsand was super stoked to get a sneaky peeky into this box because it’s filled with fun stuff surrounding your little’s fave TV shows, movies and games!
There are a ton of specialty boxes out there for kids, filled with fabulous handmade and unique items for babies, toddlers and big kids alike. But, it was fun to unbox something that was filled with mainstream items, hand selected by a team of super nerds! Who, also create kick-butt boxes for grownups too 🙂

YEY FOR FUN STUFF!
This box was cute. If I was a kid, I’d love to get a special delivery just for me every month. And, if it comes in a box that gets me super excited to open it up…even better.
The box comes with a little card depicting each item in the box. The backside had a fun little maze for the kiddos to try to master.
When you order Nerdblock Jr, you can select a box by gender. We chose the Jr. Girls Block because I was confident it would be filled with lots of goodies my little lady would love (even though she’s only three).
This Care Bears Cheeseburger Love T-Shirt was adorable. It’s way too big for my sweet pea now, but I have a bin of big girl clothes up in the attic and stuck this one up there. I can totally see her sporting this shirt when she’s a little bigger. I mean, it’s a Care Bear. She better.
This Heart Alarm Clock is a total win and currently in use and actually, really functional! It has a time, date and week setting, alarm and snooze settings, a stop watch and an hourly chime. We love going to Nanny and Pop-pops house and guessing what time it is every time the grandfather clock chimes. This little heart gets us talking about time and dates, which is a total win – any opportunity to get that little toddler learning is awesome in my book!
I love that they threw in this Zomben Comic into the girls block. Little girls tend to get lots of pink and girly stuff, but we allow our daughter to explore whatever her heart chooses. I mean, her best friends in life are an invisible excavator named “Edgar” and his sidekick “Frank” (a firetruck). This magazine is way too mature for her now, but definitely a fun touch for an older kid into this sorta thang.
I was also happy to see the National Geographic Kids Magazine in the bunch! This was definitely more our speed at this age, but we do subscribe already so we have this one (I think). If you haven’t seen this yet, such an awesome subscription for kids. It’s a bit mature for a three year old, but totally age appropriate for 6-11 year olds and PACKED with awesome information about nature and animals!
Um, how cute is this Kitty Club Blind Bag? As much as I want to open it right meow, I put it up in the attic to stick in her Christmas stocking. She’ll love it.
I also stored the last item in the box, this Disney Princess Jewelry Set. Dress up in this house is a major affair, and we love to accessorize! This one will go in her stocking or her Easter basket. Just kidding. I already gave it to her. I’m like the worst with hanging on to stuff for her when I know she’s going to love it!
COST FOR THIS KIDS BOX?
You can grab this box for $19.99 per month, which is SUPER cheap considering everything that’s inside! And, I like this as an alternative to letting your kiddo pick out stuff at the store. It gives them something to look forward to, earn and unbox every month. And, because you’re the boss, you can totally choose when they get it. And, it’s not 1 million dollars…so, yey!
Oh, and if you order in advance you save big time! A three month subscription (paid upfront) averages at $17.99 per month, a six month subscription (paid upfront) averages $16.99 per month and a 12 month subscription (paid..you guessed it, upfront) averages around $15.99 per month).
And, don’t forget yourself – grown up boxes are also available, so you can make it a family affair!
WOULD I ORDER THIS AGAIN?
This box was 50/50 for us right now at three years old. So, I’d probably wait until she was a bit older so she could really enjoy all of the items. But, I would definitely keep it in mind for some awesome 6-11 year olds I know! Why? Because I’m a super awesome gift giver and subscription boxes are pretty much the bestest gifts you could ever give 🙂 OMG, I’m such a seven year old.
Let me know which kids boxes you’re loving! I’d love to check em’ out.
