I’m a simple gal. And that’s totally translated into my beauty regimine (if you can even call it that!). I’m def not spending hours applying my makeup (contouring? What’s that even mean?). I like to keep it simple, and easy because I have a three year old and gotta be ready in 30 minutes or less…emphasis on the word “less”.
But, I also have one of those faces that needs a bit of makup. My eyelashes are barely existent and well, my skin hates me. So, as much as I’d love to throw a little mositurizer on and call it done, I have to rely on a few fab beauty products to help me not look like I just rolled out of bed after a 7 hour fight with a bear.
And, since I know there are many (many) Mama’s like me who like to rock a fab beauty product, but keep it simple, I figured I’d offer up some inspiration, stratight from my vanity. Ready?
Crude Personal Care Everything Oil. This blend of essential oils is my jam. It has been magical for my rosacea and I can’t live without it. Purlisse BB Tinted Moist Cream SPF 30. I literally just posted about Purlisse products and shared how I’m never ever going to be able to live without them in my life. A second “magical” potion for my rosacea, fo-sho. I’m incredibly obsessed with this product and how awesome it makes my skin look – and, you only need the tiniest amount so it will last a while before you have to re-supply. How did I hear of it? My FabFitFun Editor Box Cost: $24 bucks for 5 oz. Cruelty Free! Find it: here
Supergoop! Defense Refresh Setting Mist with Rosemary. While I don’t use this every day, I do like to use this if I have a wedding or other outdoor event that requires me to fancy my face with more makeup. It helps set the product AND it has an SPF50. How did I hear about it? No clue. I’ve had it for a couple years. It’s a Gwynetth Paltrow product line , so maybe that’s how? I mean, she probably called me one day to tell me all about it, because I’m totally besties with all the celebs. Aren’t you? Cost: $24 bucks for 3.4 oz Cruelty Free! Find it: here
One Love Organics Gardenia + Tea Antioxidant Body Serum. I keep this in the shower and spray it on before I dry off. It smells llike perfection and keeps your skin super duper smooth and silky. Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer. OMG, I have fallen in deep romantic love with this bronzer over the last couple of weeks. I got it a while ago and was using something else by Bare Minerals. But, something in my soul made me open it the other day – quite possible my inner sweet treat lover because this powder legit smells like chocolate. I love it so much, OMG. How did I hear about it? My Winter Beautycon Box Cost: $30 bucks for .35 oz. I’ve been using a .08 oz sample liberally and it has no sign of running out, so I’m thinkin’ a .35 oz version, allbeait pricy, will last. L’oreal Carbon Black Infallible Never Fail Eyeliner. I’ve been using this eyeliner since I was in my early 20’s.And, to this day I haven’t been able to make the switch. I like the way this is a bit soft and smudgy and not too pencily. And, it’s waterproof, so bonus! How did I hear about it? One of my brother’s girlfriend’s from way back when. Cost: just over $7 bucks Find it: I usually get it at Target or CVS.
L’oreal Paris Voluminous Feline Waterproof Instant Volume Full Lash Mascara . This has been a recent add to my collection. I like it. It’s not the most magical Mascara I’ve used in my life, but it gets the job done. I’m basically using it until it runs out and then will probs try something else. I like that it’s super dark, waterproof and has a robust wand (I can’t use those skimpy little wands or it looks like I have sticks for eyelashes). And, also I just said “robust wand”. Who am I? How did I hear about it? My Winter Beautycon Box (damn, I’m just realizing how good that box was!). Cost: just over $7 bucks Find it: Target or CVS.

Too Faced Brow Envy Brow Shaping & Defining Kit. I can’t live without this. I found this product maybe three years ago and use it on the daily. My eyebrows are like little unrully caterpiller jerks who reside above both my eyes. I try everything. They very seldom look like the gorgeously groomed brows they should. BUT, this product most def helps me tame those little beasts (at least enough so that I don’t look like a total train wreck). When my brows do decide to do thier J-O-B and look the part? This product rocks it. Like, ROCKS IT! How did I hear about it? I wanna say my PopSugar Must Have box. I haven’t subscribed to them in years, but I’m pretty sure that’s how I got hooked. Sorme Get a Brow Gel. Even though Too Faced is my go-to brow tamer, I have recently tried this brow gel and I think I might want to marry it. I tried it recently (as mentioned above). See more on that here! Cruelty Free! Cost: $16 bucks. Find it: here
Elizabeth Mott Color is Bae Liquid Lipstick. This color is GORGEOUS! It is as magenta in person as it is in the pic. I don’t use this on the daily, but when I’m going somewhere that requires me to look a little less I just spent 4 hours sweating in the park while my kid swung in the swing without ever getting off…ever I dab this on. And, I do just dab it. This color is fierce. But when applied straight up? I’m totally out of place. How did I hear about it? Wantable – May Make up Collection! Cost: $20 bucks Cruelty Free! Find it: here

No clue – I’ve been using it for years! Cruelty Free! Find it: here
Eva NYC Surf’s Up! Texture Spray. My hair is pretty long and totally has a mind of it’s own. On the very rare days I wear it down, I like to create big waves. This texture spray rocks it and also smells delish. Because I like things that smell delish. How did I hear about it? My first Influenster box! Cost: $11.99 for 5.3 oz Cruelty Free! Find it: here
OGX Fade-defying+ Orchid Oil. I honestly use this just for the pure fact that it makes me smell incredible. It also does make my hair shine like those girls in the Pantene commercials. I almost always spray a bunch of this in my hair before heading out the door (unless I’m using my texture spray, because smells don’t need to be colliding). How did I hear about it? In my Spring BeautyCon Box Cost: $7.99 for 4 oz. Find it: here
