MEAL DELIVERY SERVICE FOR YOUR KIDS
YUMBLE (between $6.99 and $7.99 per meal, depending upon plan chosen; ships nationally) Each meal contains less than 6 grams of sugar and comes packed in THE most adorable packaging. Mom and Founder, Joanna, spent 2 years perfecting recipes that are both super healthy, and super kid friendly. (She) started with foods that all kids love – like mac and cheese, pizza, and chicken nuggets – but figured out ways to make them so much healthier. And even more fun to eat! Oh, and PS – I’ve tried their protein poppers and almost died. SO. Good.
Raised Real ($4.75 per meal; ships to the 48 contiguous states) These guys make superfoods for tiny humans and I wish I knew about this when my sweet pea was a babe. They send you pre-packaged raw, diced, plant-based ingredients and you prep at home – steam and blend or steam and serve for little fingers to explore. Everything comes from certified organic farms and there’s never any added sugar or preservatives. Should I have another baby so I can try this? No. The answer is no, guys.
NOMSLY ($35 per week for 5 meals; ships in the New England area only) We’ve been lucky enough to try these guys and we were super impressed with the quality of the food, the exciting choices and the adorable meal names – like, Brunch for Lunch, Wheels on the Bus and Do the Twist. My daughter tried some new things (hello Jicama) and enjoyed the classics (mini pancakes and carrot sticks). An awesome, healthy choice at a great price.
LITTLE SPOON (between $3.92 and $4.92 per meal depending upon plan chosen; ships to the 48 contiguous states) If you want to feed your little “homemade” purees but just don’t have the time, this might be your fix. And, the combinations they cultivate are a great way to get your teeny’s little palette loving a variety – like, Pea Carrot Apple Dill Coconut Oil, Black Bean Mango Corn Lime Cilantro and Quinoa Raspberry Pear Coconut Milk Vanilla Date Wheat Germ Oil. I mean, I feel like I want to eat them. But, they are best for babes 6 months and older who are still enjoying pureed foods.
NURTURE LIFE (plans start at $49 / week; ships nationally) Ready-to-heat baby, toddler and kid meals that are wholesome and organic. They arrive to your door cold (never frozen), so you can stick em’ in the fridge and reheat. From roasted Garnet Yam Puree and Mac and Cheese with Cauliflower to Teriyaki Tofu with Brown Rice, this meal delivery service is easy peasy and super healthy for your babes, kiddos, and teens.
Happy feeding (and tasting because you totally know you will).
