My daughter just turned four and she is incredible. She is smart and creative and thoughtful and amazing in every way. But, while she loves to rock a tutu and a great mani-pedi, she isn’t a traditional girl (is there even such a thing anymore? I sure hope not!).
Her bestie is a firetruck named Frank, she prefers race cars to baby dolls and can tell you exactly how a tow truck uses his wench in a rescue. And, for her fourth birthday? She’s asked for a dragon party – she is so incredibly bad ass and into her own thing and I LOVE THAT beyond measure.

I’m obsessing over unique little shops that empower children to be themselves in whatever way that means. All of the prints shown in this post are from Dinky Mix, an Etsy shop straight outta Manchester, UK (ello! ello!).
Through Dinky Mix I hope to promote the oneness of humanity and our common ground. I want our kids to celebrate the differences as well as the similarities of the vast array of people, cultures and races that reside on this amazing planet. (Chi, owner)
Here, you’ll find Culturally Diverse and Empowering Children’s Art Prints and if you’re like me, you will want them all. Everything from superhero art and printables, to love, inspiration and even comics. These prints are not short of style, funk, and positivity.
My mama heart is all a-flutter.
Find em’ here – downloadable prints are under $10 bucks and larger art pieces are $20 and up.
