I’m going to put this to you gently. My garden never smiles. And, that’s because my gardening thumb is blacker than a moonless night. Lucky for my garden, I found a monthly box that makes gardening easy and fun for the best (and worst…probably me) gardeners around.
This post is sponsored by My Garden Box.
This is my second delivery from My Garden Box and I loved it just as much as my chicks and hens, which PS are still somehow alive and thriving in the dead of winter in my garage. In my defense, I couldn’t bring them in, thanks to two very curious little furballs who took residence after said succulent garden was crafted, but nonetheless, it thrives, despite my neglect and the bitter, New England cold.
If you aren’t already on the My Garden Box train, get on girlfran..get, on. I’ve included all of the details (and a coupon code) below – And, they are a sponsor in my current giveaway, so you can totally win a monthly box of gardening goodness for yourself if you head on over and enter!
Okay, let’s talk plants and stuff. These boxes arrive totally thought out and curated with love. Seriously. They have thought of everything from the theme of the box, to the contents within – you really don’t need anything other than yourself, maybe a cup of coffee if you’re sleepy like I always am, and the stuff in the box. Boom. Gardening. Done.
I received the “Doing the Dishes” box. The themes they come up with are SO CUTE – this one was a dish garden (hence the “Doing the Dishes” title). This box came filled with four mini dish plants (the Black Scallop, Berry Smoothie and Pusillus Minimus Aureus – say that 5 times fast!), a dish container, mat, soil, moss topping and a clean up kit (we are doing the dishes right?).
My kiddo was SUPER excited about it so I decided to do some planting with her. Here’s how things went down (Warning: 4-year-old obnoxiousness and interrupting on blast so be prepared). She also used the cleanup kit to give me a mini mani halfway through the project, so win for me!
