I don’t know about you, but I don’t think my 4-year-old has EVER tried on clothing in-store. I think the farthest I’ve gotten was a dress, half over her head and under one arm while chasing her screaming little body all over the store. Not awesome. NOT. Awesome.
On a good day, I can get her in to the store without bribery, so I can grab 52 styles of everything (who even knows what I’m grabbing) and cross my fingers that we’ve got a few winners . It’s a process guys, and I know I’m not alone in it.
THE ULTIMATE GIFT FOR MOMS? YES.
One of the coolest things I’ve come across this year is the concept of in home styling for my little. It has been a game changer and, legit, if anyone is looking for a Mother’s Day gift for me? This is the ultimate one.
It may be a box of clothes for my kid but to me? It’s the gift of not chasing a mini tornado around the kids clothing store. The gift of plopping myself down on the floor (in PJ’s obvi) while possibly sipping on an adult beverage and not having an entire store of patrons spectating while I lose my you-know-what in the middle of the 4T section.
It’s basically magic in a little box and has not only assisted me in filling up my daughter’s clothes with good, quality kids clothes, but it has also given her the opportunity to twirl around in front of the kitty babes while trying on new duds at her leisure.
This post is Sponsored by Kidbox*.
If you’ve been following along, you’ve seen our Summer Kidbox and Winter Kidbox. Today, we’re unboxing Spring (and also giving you a chance to win a box yourself – more on that and the link to enter the giveaway below!).
WHAT WE RECEIVED
As mentioned in the vid above, this box included all of the below:
Lucky Girls Denim Shorts (Retail $32 – Kidbox Price $24). A bit big fit-wise, but a total love.
Eland Girls Ice Cream Tank (Retail $28 – Kidbox Price $21) I didn’t expect this tank to be so fitted, but it worked! She LOVED all of the sequins and thought the popsicle was “so, so cute Mama!“
Jessica Simpson Girls Graphic Striped Tee (Retail $25 – Kidbox Price $19). I wasn’t sure about this one at first glance, but it looked adorable on and really cute with the jeans we got in our last Kidbox.
Design History Girls Seersucker Shorts (Retail $28 – Kidbox Price $21). I have no clue if these fit or not, but they are super cute. Someone (not naming names, but maybe me, maybe the cat) had a major meltdown mid try-on and had to postpone for another day.
Nanette Girls Pink Top and Legging Set (Retail $36 – Kidbox Price $27). Totally called it in the video. I would never have chosen this little dress, but she thought it was perfection. It also fit a bit snugger than I thought and most definitely needed leggings underneath, but she twirled for 800 years in this little thang.
Jessica Simpson Girls “No Prob-Llama” Graphic Tank (Retail $29 – Kidbox Price $23) Also, as suspected this LLAMA top was her favorite. She put it on and never ever took it off.
The total retail value of this box was $178.50. We received the box for free from Kidbox as part of this sponsorship, but if we would’ve purchased it on our own (which I have in the past), the price would have been $98 bucks. That’s a savings of $80, the convenience of trying on in your own home, and the benefit of a personal stylest picking out good, quality product for your kiddo.
And, there’s the added Give Back bonus too – every time you keep a full box, Kidbox clothes a child in need. Love it.
