I may be living a sugar free life, but I’m a grown-up. Which means I like a grown-up beverage in my hand every so often. This weekend I had my first alcoholic beverage in 2 months. That glass of Prosecco was glorious and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I knew going in that Prosecco has some sugar – less than a teaspoon thankfully, but I made the exception – the only exception I’ve made with sugar in two months. Why? Because I’m a big girl and I can live a sugar free life, whereby once in a blue moon, I will gladly drink trace amounts of sugar in a lovely alcoholic bevvy.
That said, I LOVE the idea of drinking a cocktail that is all-natural without any of that nasty sugar beast. Cue Be Mixed.
They have three varieties: Cucumber Mint, Ginger Lime and Margarita ($33 with free shipping). These cocktail mixers are legit sugar free – sweetened with Erythritol, Monk Fruit, and Stevia Extract. If you’re counting macros and reading food labels they have all of the nutrition info and ingredients listed on their site.
