Your favorite Stan Smith’s have gone vegan (and they’re on pre-order!)

If you love a good pair of kicks, but steer clear of leather, you’re going to flip over the latest Stella McCartney/Adidas collab.

I’m not going to lie.  I want these sneakers bad.  But, if I want em’ I’m going to have to possibly take out a loan (they’re on pre-order now for $325 big ones).  And, they’re white, so they are going to be destroyed in 4.5 seconds.

That said, I still want them.  I love classic Adidas sneaks and have proudly owned a few pairs of Stan Smith’s through the years. There’s just something about a crisp white pair of kicks snuggled up to a pair of leggings or jeans that makes my heart ba-dum-ba-dum.

This new collaboration between Stella McCartney and Adidas brings us a “distinctly Stella take on the iconic Adidas Stan Smith sneakers, crafted from vegetarian leather for the very first time.”

They are classic white and slightly restyled – instead of the Adidas logo on the back heel, you’ll find Stella’s,  sandwiched between maroon and blue stripes.  The tongue of each shoe is equipped with a black and white pic – Stan on one, Stella on the other.  And, the sides are punched with perforated stars (another credit to Ms. McCartney).

If you pre-order now, you can have them as soon as the end of the month.  The estimated shipping date is September 20th.   Let me know if you grab a pair for me…I mean, Christmas is only 101 days away.
