Oh, man. We had family in town a few weeks ago for the kiddos dance recital and made some epic S’mores by the campfire! Regular s’mores are already amazing, but I had the idea of taking them up a notch and, OMG. Let’s just say, they were a hit.

SUPER MELTY + SIMPLE GOURMET S’MORES
I’m calling these “gourmet” s’mores because they are an elevated version of your regular ol’ graham cracker, marshmallow, chocolate treats. But, there is nothing difficult about pulling these bad boys together (AKA, my 5-year-old did it – with supervision by the fire, obviously).
Like, literally – I just want to Target, picked out a few things I thought would be fun and let the crowd come up with their own flavor combos.
I grabbed the ingredients at my local Target, but you can get them on Amazon as well (here’s a super fun group of S’mores stuff I found!). I got everything you need for regular s’mores, along with a few other ingredients to blow our minds a little:
- Regular Honey Graham Crackers
- Chocolate Graham Crackers
- Vanilla Marshmallows
- Smashmallow Cookie Dough Marshmallows
- Smashmallow Cinnamon Churro Marshmallows
- Regular Hershey’s Chocolate Bars
- Lilly’s Stevia Sweetened Salted Chocolate with Almonds
- Peanut Butter Cups
You could also get:
- Cinnamon Graham Crackers
- Cookies (to use in place of the graham crackers)
- Regular Marshmallows
- Smashmallow Toasted Vanilla, Strawberries + Cream, Mint Chocolate Chip
- Jams, nut butters, caramel…omg, the options are endless
- Any Chocolate Candy – Kitkats, Andes mint thins, almond joy…you get the gyst
OUR FLAVOR COMBOS
I’m popping in some of the flavor combos we came up with below. NOTE: If you’re eating sugar-free, grain-free this is NOT gonna fit your diet. These are the full-on, sugar and grain versions. Maybe at some point this summer I can figure out how to make Keto s’mores!
-HONEY CHOCOLATE CHURRO-
The hubs grabbed regular honey Grahams, a few chocolate squares and a cinnamon churro marshmallow. You should’ve seen this guy roasting marshmallows. It’s like he’s an artist or something.
-BLACKENED VANILLA PEANUT BUTTER CUP-
Miss pretty nails (aka, my Mama) loves charred marshmallows. She grabbed a vanilla marshmallow, peanut butter cup and a few honey Grahams. I wish I would’ve taken another pic a few minutes later because the peanut butter cups melted up reallllly nice!
-I’m just going to eat random things-
When you’re five, you don’t care about gourmet s’mores. BUT, you do care about all the sugar at your fingertips. Let’s just say there was lots of “sampling”, followed by 82 laps around the campfire.
-SALTED CHOCOLATE COOKIE DOUGH DREAM-
I can’t identify the hand holding this s’mores but whoever it was, used chocolate grahams, salted chocolate, a chocolate chip cookie dough marshmallow, AND a vanilla marshmallow. We know how to party, guys.
I couldn’t decide if I wanted honey grahams or chocolate grahams, so I chose both! I skipped the chocolate bar and chose to focus on this cinnamon churro marshmallow. I could eat 52 of these things, guys. SO. DAMN. GOOD.
-CHOCOLATE, CHOCOLATE PARADISE –
My sister in law went ALL OUT with her combos. Chocolate grahams, a peanut butter cup, cookie dough marshmallow AND a cinnamon churro marshmallow for the win. I wanted to fight her for this one, but…you know…I was too busy eating treats.
I can’t wait to see what flavor combos you guys come up with – drop them in the comments below!
