Before I dive into this post, I want to first say THANK YOU (like a huge, all-caps THANK YOU) for all of the awesome comments you’ve been sharing about my sugar free muffins. When I went sugar free last year I never would have thought I’d turn the lifestyle into something new to love! But, creating easy, family-friendly, sugar free recipes has become a huge part of my life and I’m loving every second!

MY SUGAR FREE MUFFINS
Unless otherwise noted below, all of my sugar free muffins are also grain free, low carb and keto friendly. But, you don’t need to eat any kind of special diet to enjoy them! They are great for the kiddos (as an after school snack or grab and go treat) and because they don’t have ANY sugar in them, you can bet you won’t be dealing with sugar-crazies (that’s what happens to my kid the second a grain of sugar enters her body). It’s crazy people.
THESE MUFFINS STORE WELL FOR MEAL PREP
I meal prep every Sunday and always make a muffin to eat for breakfast or dessert during the week. After I bake them, I store them in an airtight container in the fridge and, while we like to eat them cold, you can totally set it on the countertop for 10 minutes or so to come to room temp.
Now, on to the muffins…
Chocolate Cream Cheese Muffins: This is THE MOST popular recipe on the blog right now and for good reason. The combination of sweetened cream cheese and dark chocolate makes for a killer combo. AND, dark chocolate has so many delicious health benefits!

Coffee Cake Muffins: I think these are my favorite. It’s hard to choose, but when I jumble all my muffin recipes together in my head, this one pops out as being THE BEST (and, the final recipe came about after I made a rookie mistake in the kitchen). They are great with the icing and even better without.

Lemon Ricotta Muffins. I made these sweet and springy gems right around Mother’s Day for a Brunch in Bed blog post. So many of you have made them already and are loving my take on traditional Italian ricotta pie.

Cinnamon Roll Muffins: If you like cinnamon you are going to love, love, love these sugar free muffins because they taste just like a cinnamon roll. The muffin base is swirled with a sweet icing making it almost impossible to eat just one 🙂

Berry Pancake Muffins: I make these muffins all the time because they take like, 4 minutes to whip up and get in the oven. You can make the plain muffins with berries (I use raspberries and blueberries) or sugar free chocolate chips or a combination of all! Great for grab and go breakfasts.

Carrot Cake Muffins: Boing, boing! Who loves carrots? Carrots technically have sugar so they are not completely sugar-free. But this recipe only calls for one cup of carrots spread out over twelve muffins – so, super low impact here. If your sweet tooth is calling, top it with some cream cheese frosting! And, if you really want a sweet treat, try my Carrot Cake Cupcakes in a Jar.

Pound Cake Muffins: I had to get crafty with this one because I couldn’t convert a traditional pound cake recipe “apples to apples”. I stuck with the basic ingredients but traded them out for keto-friendly versions – almond flour, butter, eggs, and sugar substitute. I also split the butter measurement with some sour cream to keep things dense and moist. They are also the base for my Sugar Free Strawberry Shortcake Cupcakes.

Chocolate Almond Butter Muffins: If you love fudgy, dark chocolate, you’re gonna love these babies. I baked them with avocado oil (instead of butter to keep them super moist) and added some almond butter because you can’t go wrong with nut butters and chocolate.
